Appointments

How To Book An Appointment

So we can provide a safe and responsive service, we offer appointments online, by telephone or via video call. If a face-to-face appointment is needed you will still be seen in person by a GP. Telephone appointments are not suitable for everyone and if you need a physical examination or blood test, for example, we will ask you to come in. You may be provided a consultation with any one of our healthcare team which best meets your needs. This may include a GP, Nurse, Health Care Assistant, Pharmacist or First Contact Physiotherapist.

1. Self Care Advice

You can often sort your own health issues without needing to see us

If you have a non-urgent condition you can use The NHS websitePatient Access or the Health & Care Video Library. Alternatively, you can call 111 if you are worried about your health.

We also have some great resources in our Self-Help Centre for information and support groups.

2. Speak to a Pharmacist

Your pharmacy can advise you on minor illness without the need of an appointment. Please speak to a pharmacist first.

Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines and their use, to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you’ll need to see a doctor. You don’t need an appointment and you won’t even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.

3. For a Telephone Appointment

Please call the surgery phone on 020 7411 5720 on the day between 8.00am – 4.00pm.

We operate a Total Telephone Triage system alongside online consultations. When you want to make a telephone call with a GP you ring on the day between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

The doctor will ring you back to discuss your problem and set up a video call if necessary.

If we can help you without disrupting your day, we will. If it is something that needs a face-to-face assessment, we’ll arrange a time with you, usually on the same day.

If you want more information, please speak to the Patient Services Team.
